Behavioural Health

Through our strong commitment to patient quality and safety, UHS is among industry leaders for evidence-based outcomes and regularly earns high patient satisfaction scores.

Offering Supportive Care

Since we entered the behavioral health industry in 1983, the number of individuals we treat has grown significantly and our presence has expanded. We treat about 700,000 patients each year. “As the Behavioral Health Division continues to increase awareness and change the conversations about mental health and addiction issues, our commitment remains to provide high quality care for our patients, including treating individuals with respect and operating with integrity. This also includes UHS’ unique ability to leverage our physician services unit to further develop our network of dedicated behavioral health providers to better serve our communities.” Matt Peterson, Executive Vice President, UHS, and President, Behavioral Health Division
